Market@thSheds is going loco with an Afro-Brazilian Festival on Saturday 3 December!

The year is coming to an end – it has been a great one – and to celebrate, we’ve decided to go big! We’ll be collaborating with the Embassy of Brazil to create the best of Brazilian and African entertainment under one roof.

The market starts at 11h00 and the line-up includes Lynol Brown, Toessesions Love, African Rhythm and Simba-ci. Guaranteed colourful entertainment, combined with interactive drumming, frevo dancing, capoeira martial arts, samba dancing, delicious food, art, design and fashion, caiperinhas, craft beer, laid-back Brazilian sounds, a Brazilian cooking class and a real Brazilian braai!

And then, get ready for some samba-enredo muzik! The highlight of the day will be performances by Obrigado DJ’s – Kenzhero and Tha Muzik, complemented by Brazilian DJ, Tatiana Kalil.

For the early birds, join the Instawalk through the city at 7h30 and yoga in the 012central courtyard an 9h45.

The Brazilian Cooking Class will start at 11h30. Kids will be well looked after with a jumping castle, face painting, soccer tricks and a kiddies area.
