Market at the Sheds March Edition is inspired by The Mardi Gras Carnival, a Celebration of Life that is hosted around the world – most famously in New Orleans in the US.

Participants dress-up in costumes which are mostly elaborate creations of colored feathers and hats. And it’s a LOT of fun.

We have 2 stages running simultaneously. The Main Stage features a handpicked selection of live bands and artists, while the Courtyard Stage has fabulous DJs to keep everyone dancing day and night into the Sheds After Party which runs till midnight.

Kids under 13 & Cyclists enter Free. We have FREE SAFE parking available at 216 Sisulu street, 012 Central Parking. There’s additional parking at The South African State Theatre, which is a 140m walk from our main entrance.
