Who better to join on a delectably fun, friends & foodie day than Lebogang ‘The Funny Chef’ Tlokana. This Pretoria-born superstar is a chef, actress, comedienne, social media sensation, television host, author and entrepreneur – and she’s coming to the Sheds! Meet her for a cooking demonstration and book signing at 13h00.
Also on the menu is Encore, the Atteridgeville and Mamelodi afro soul trio that captures hearts with their Setswana ballads. With a Sama Award, a collaboration with Idols alumni Amanda Black and a Metro FM award nomination under the belt, this group is something to experience.
The Taste of Pitori theme of this month’s Market at the Sheds will be a deep dive into food and music in the capital. The Funny Chef will be doing a cooking demonstration and a book signing and you might even find some ting (sour porridge) and maotwana (chicken feet) to taste. Tshwane’s most diverse and fun monthly market, the Market at the Sheds, has partnered with SEDA again for this market. More than 60 local entrepreneurs will be exhibiting and selling their products to hundreds of patrons from 11:00 on the 3rd of June 2023 at 012Central, 381 Helen Joseph St, Pretoria Central.
While they explore a curated group of fine designers, arts, fashion, food and drinks stalls, patrons will be entertained with live performances until 6pm, with the Sheds Afterparty continuing until 12pm.

There will be tickets available at the door for R100 before 14:00 and R120 thereafter. Look out for the Early Bird special – if you arrive before 12h00, you get 2 tickets for the price of one – only R50 per person!

Free and safe parking is available at 216 Sisulu Street, which provides direct access to the market. Visitors can also park at the South African State Theatre, a 140 meters distance from the main entrance. Kids under 13 enter free.
